A native Californian, Jennifer has been coming to this area of Colorado since she was two years old, and now has lived in Colorado longer than California. She made her move to Colorado in 1984, living and working in the Metro Denver area until buying a home in Buena Vista in 2002.
Jennifer graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1979. Since then she has been selling; from retail (Macy’s California) to wholesale (selling giftware to stores on the Western Slope), to hotel rooms (Director of Sales), and now sells homes in Chaffee County. While in the Denver area she bought, managed, and sold her own rental properties, so brings that personal experience in Property Management to Collegiate Peaks Realty.
Since moving to Buena Vista full time in 2004 she has been active in the community- serving on the BV Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and then as President in 2007-2008. She is also involved with Grace Church, the Boys and Girls Club, and Chapter IA of P.E.O.
Jennifer’s hobbies include travel, “yardening”, home improvement projects, hiking and exploring with her dog Joe E Cocker, knitting, playing tennis and “Game Nights” with friends. She lives on the Golf Course and hopes someday to actually play golf! Jennifer is happy to be “living her dream” in Buena Vista and she enjoys helping other people find their dream home so they can live La Buena Vida (the Good Life) too!
